Membership Friends:
As you know, our organization has been working hard to fulfill its mission of promoting the Puerto Rican Culture and help keep our community united.
Apart from cultural and educational presentations at schools and varied events we have also offered artistic programs for the community, such as Puerto Rican Cuatro, Acrylic Painting and Acoustic Guitar, with plans to launch a Folkloric Dance program soon. Although these programs are aimed mostly at the younger generations to help preserve our culture, they are open to anyone in the community who wants to participate.
We have also recently started to organize social events for PROCER members, their families and guests, such as Fiesta en el Batey, which was a total success. We plan to continue presenting this and other social events on a regular basis, with different themes and activities for all.
We need your support and we are counting on you to help us continue providing these programs and events for the community. By applying for membership in the PROCER Organization you become a sponsor of the educational and artistic programs that help keep the culture alive among our children. You also have the benefits of membership, including discounts on registration in our programs and events such as our Christmas Fiesta.
Our pride of being Boricuas needs to go beyond waving our flag or shouting Wepa! Our pride should be based on how much we contribute to keeping our unique cultural identity alive in our own children for generations to come… Honoring and respecting our culture requires effort from all, you are welcome to join us in this endeavor!
